The name matters
Pogona vitticeps is the Central Bearded Dragon. Other recognised Pogona species occupy different ranges and can differ in size, proportions, habitat use and appearance.
Common names are not always used consistently online, which is why the scientific name is useful when checking research or legal information.
Evidence limit
Do not mix species evidence carelessly
A study on Pogona barbata, Pogona minor or another Australian dragon may provide useful biological context, but it is not automatically direct evidence for Pogona vitticeps.
Good information should identify which species was studied and clearly say when a comparison is being made rather than presenting it as a Central Bearded Dragon result.
