What research does well
Controlled studies can test a defined question, such as temperature selection, UVB response or behaviour in different enclosure designs. Field studies can show what animals ate or where they were found under particular conditions.
Those results can support biological principles and challenge assumptions that have been repeated without evidence.

Where interpretation begins
A result from a small sample, one age group or one set of conditions may not apply unchanged to every captive dragon. A study can support the need for thermal choice without proving one exact thermostat setting, lamp model or enclosure dimension.
Good husbandry combines research, veterinary knowledge, measured outcomes and substantial practical experience. The source of each claim should remain visible so readers can distinguish evidence from implementation.
