Two separate morphs
Zero dragons are generally recognised by a patternless grey, silver or charcoal appearance, while Witblits animals more often sit within cream, tan or earthy colour ranges. Individual appearance varies and can change with age, temperature and condition.
A dragon cannot be identified as genetically Zero or Witblits solely because it looks pale or lacks strong pattern. Parentage and breeding results are essential.

Responsible pairing decisions
Because both are recessive, unaffected-looking dragons can carry the genes. Accurate records are therefore important when planning future pairings.
Fusion avoids visual-to-visual Zero and visual-to-visual Witblits pairings as a breeding policy. That is a Fusion risk-management position and should not be represented as a conclusion proven by a controlled study.
