Before choosing a dragon

The essentials

Have the enclosure and its essential equipment ready first.

Size

Your enclosure must be a minimum of 1200 × 600 × 600 mm

Heat and light

T5 high-output UVB with reflector
Visible floodlight, usually around 75 watts
Thermostat

Furniture

Basking log
Water bowl
Somewhere to hide

Apply in your state or territory for the required licence first. NT and SA residents may not need a licence—check your current local requirements.

Have you got an enclosure ready?

Check that it is fitted out to the required specifications.

Contact Fusion to see whether an enclosure is available, or for direction to a reputable builder.

Setup

Is it fitted out to the specifications?

Yes

Your enclosure is up to standard. You can continue to choosing a dragon.
